at the Junkyard
a wheel, an axle gone, wires sticking out
of the hacked-open steering column like stamens
of exotic flowers. Don't want it back. I see now
all I've ever wanted in life is to push the button on the EZ crusher,
watch the weight come down and my old van windows
like spurts of green water like glass.
